Recently, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation organized the donation of wheelchairs in Dien Bien and Son La Provinces. In Dien Bien Province, in collaboration with the provincial Red Cross and Muong Ang County, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation donated wheelchairs and walking frames to more than 50 people with disabilities. Similarly, in Son La Province, the Foundation also held a ceremony to donate wheelchairs and walking frames to 43 people with disabilities, while also visiting and giving gifts directly to families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through these activities, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation hopes that these support devices will help people with disabilities improve their mobility, enhance their quality of life, and reduce the burden on caregivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cLoving Wheelchairs\u201d program of the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation started in 2009. After more than 15 years, the Foundation has donated 30,834 wheelchairs to people with disabilities across Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
